El Salto Lake is a scenic impoundmente located on foot hill of Sierra Madre Mountains, it´s just 550 feet above Sea Level, it´s just 90 minutes away from Mazatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico, on all paved roads, driving north, it was built on the Elota river and spans approximetly 27,000.00 acres. The Weather averages normally the 82 degrees Faranheit. El Salto Lake was loaded around 15 years ago with Largemouth Florida Bass, but because of the warm temperature of the water, it turned in to a very big and agressive BASS (lots of 10+ lbs!!). And remember that El Salto Lake is very closed to Mazatlan, just 1 ½ hours away!!!. Most of our fishing guides are natives from the samll towns around the lake, so they know exactly the spots for the best fishing, in addition the chief of guides has been working on the sportfishing, for more than 12 year in this lake.
